Women in Nuclear (WiN) Spain organizes, within the framework of the Annual Meeting of the Spanish Nuclear Society, a conference open to the community of Granada.
The conference, under the title “Women, Science, and Technology,” will take place at the Palace of the Superunda of Ávila (Plaza Corral de las Campanas, 3) on Tuesday, September 25 at 6:00 pm.
The following people will participate in this conference: Rosario Velasco, vice-president of the CSN and president of CEIDEN; María Luisa Castaño, director of energy at CIEMAT; María Martín, senior regional manager – Southern Europe & Latin America, and Patricia Rodríguez Calleja, deputy mayor of Social Services and Equal Opportunities for the Ávila City Council.
Women in Nuclear (WiN) Spain organizes, as is traditional within the framework of the Annual Meettin of the Spanish Nuclear Society, a conference open to the community of Vigo entitled "Women, science and equality". The conference will take place at the Headquarters “Afundación” of Vigo (Policarpo Sanz Street, 24-26) on Tuesday, September 24 at 6:30 pm.
The event will include the participation of political scientist Rosanna Lopez Salgueiro, president of the National Commission on Employment of Women in Equality, Susana López Abella, General Secretary of Equality of the Xunta de Galicia, and María Luisa Castaño, General Director of Research and Technological Innovation of the Community of Madrid.
This activity, open to the entire city of Granada as a way of bringing the Annual Meeting closer to its citizens, aims to highlight the importance of nuclear technology in other areas, such as current medicine and the restoration of works of art.
