The NEA (Nuclear Energy Agency) of the OECD promotes mentoring workshops geared towards girls in order to generate interest in science and technology activities, as well as to show women leaders in these areas of activity.
The first edition of this initiative took place in Japan, in August 2017, and it is the third time that this activity will be held in Spain, always within the framework of the Annual Meeting of the SNE. Granada will host this mentoring workshop jointly organized by WiN Spain and the NEA. (PCGR)
The NEA (Nuclear Energy Agency) of the OCDE promotes mentoring workshops directed towards girls to raise interest in science and technology activities, as well as to showcase role model women in these areas of activity. This activity will be held on Tuesday, September 24 at the Barrié Foundation (Policarpio Sanz Street, 31) from 10:00am to 1:30pm.
The deputy of the Delegation of Pontevedra, Carlos López Font, the president of Win Spain, Matilde Pelegrí, and Javier Guerra, president of the SNE, will welcome the students. Then, success stories will be presented by Patricia Argerey, director of the Galician Innovation Agency, Sama Bilbao, director of the NEA's Division of Nuclear Technology and Economics, and Rosario Arévalo, director of Internal Audit, Compliance and CSR of Enusa .
The first edition of this initiative took place in Japan in August 2017 and was repeated in the month of August 2018.
For the first time in a European country, Ávila will host the NEA mentoring workshop, organized jointly with WiN Spain.
There will be 50 female students participating from the institutes of Ávila, whose mentors will be professionals from the junior and senior world of science and technology. The activity will take place on Monday the 24th in the afternoon.
