With the arrival in Spain of the first proton therapy center that will offer treatments to cancer patients, we will address in this single subject session the medical use of radiation: proton therapy and nuclear medicine. For this, we will have speakers from the most advanced pharmaceutical industry as well as a researcher from the Molecular Imaging and Medical Physics Group from the University of Santiago de Compostela who, in addition to moderating the session, will present the lines of research that are being developed in Galicia in the field of Nuclear Medicine.
